One of these things is not like the other...
Winter hit in full force last night!
Today will be full of trapped at staying home, making first day of snow fudge, playing with chocolate play dough, and getting outside to brush off all that heavy snow from my Quasimodo evergreen. And hoping that I don't discover another puzzle piece hidden for who-knows-how-long in one Professor's diaper. :)
Watching the blinding sun rise this morning over the freshly fallen snow,
I am thankful for this eternal promise today:
“Come now, let us settle the matter,”
says the LORD.
“Though your sins are like scarlet,
they shall be as white as snow;
though they are red as crimson,
they shall be like wool. (Isaiah 1:18)
Oh my goodness! How much snow did you get?
ReplyDeleteYour Quasimodo tree made me smile. You just have a little outdoor Christmas tree now. :)
Fudge sounds delicious. I hope you enjoy your day at home and don't find anything in a diaper that doesn't belong there!
Snow fudge? I remember snow ice cream from my days living in the North, but I am not familiar with snow fudge.
ReplyDeleteLove your blog!
The high here in AZ is going to be 77 today. Oh how I long for a little snow....or just a slight chill in the air.
ReplyDelete@Crafty Cristy: No, actually, it's not snow fudge...it's just a good excuse for me to make regular fudge! LOL! We did the snow ice cream last year and the kids loved it.
ReplyDeleteWow! What a wet snow. There have been flakes here all day, but none of it has settled.. yet.
ReplyDeleteGrace woke up this morning and said, "We are going to be inside so we must make chocolate chip, cranberry cookies!" That's my girl :)
What a difference! Brrrr! I prefer the first photo - I don't like to be cold! Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteWow you have had more snow then us which is so odd...it does look pretty...
ReplyDeleteWow, that is some transformation... We've still not even had a proper frost yet!!
